Passengers: Aurora Lane (ENFJ)

Functional Order: Fe/Ni/Se/Ti

Dominant Function: Fe

Aurora is very warm and emotionally open person, who easily charms Jim with her kind and sunny nature. She is polite and well spoken, aiming to work as a writer and inspire younger generations with her work. She is also highly sensitive towards others reactions to her and perceived injustice, judging Jim for his selfish actions based on collectively agreed upon morality and criticizing his self centered ways. Aurora is ultimately selfless and cares for the well being of those around her, causing her to stay on the ship to life with Jim, as she values her relationship with him and the others on the ship as more important than her personal dreams.

Auxiliary Function: Ni

Aurora is future focused and idealistic. She is curious about visiting another planet and the potential it has for her career as a writer. She has her whole life planned out already and is quite disturbed when she finds out these plans might won‘t get into fruition. Her writings show her as a very philosophical person that draws parallels between her experiences on board of the space ship and the journey of all humans going through time.

Tertiary Function: Se

Aurora is very energetic and quick to come up with many different ways to get away from the ship. She often does Sport like swimming to release stress and fear and always cares for her appearance and presentation even with few people on board. Her love of nature is also shown in the epilogue where we see how she created a garden out of the space ship.

Inferior Function: Ti

Aurora is an emotional and idealistic person that believes that there is always a way to fix their problems against all odds. When her idealism is shattered and she feels betrayed by Jim she becomes quite cynical and jaded and only retains her idealism after accepting the reality of her situation and reevaluating her choices.
