When winning his first Hunger Games Finnick mainly had to rely on his charms, quickly becoming the capitols golden boy. He is great at manipulating others and gaining others trust and highly charismatic. While this causes him to appear a bit vain at times, he is actually quite caring and kind and secretly tries to do his best for the greater good of the districts. He secretly coordinates the revolutionary activities and safes Katniss from the arena, by subtly influencing her decisions.

Finnick is an idealist and great at manipulating others through his words to follow his vision. He is secretive and rarely reveals his full plans, rather scheming his way through the games. His future focused nature helps to keep him alive during the games.

Finnick is very conscious about his appearance and knows how to use his good looks to his advantage. He likes to train his body and exercise enjoying the thrill of the moment and has quite a playful side. While appearing hedonistic, he secretly detests the extreme wealth of the caption and the social injustice in the country.

FinNick mainly relies on his emotional intelligence and looks to win the games rather than one strategizing or carefully crafted out tactics. He is normally warm and welcoming, but can get cold and detached under much pressure.
