Functional axis: Fe/Ni/Se/Ti
Dominant Function: Fe
Neytiri naturally takes on a teaching role towards Jack and helps him understand her peoples culture, society and values. She can be judgmental and outspoken when she perceives injustice, but is also deeply compassionate even towards strangers like Jack. Furthermore she has a natural urge to help others and wants to secure their safety and happiness, no matter it being her people, wild animals or even those, which could mean harm to her and her tribe.
Secondary Function: Ni
Neytiri is very mystical and has a strong connection to Eywa, her peoples goddess and the spiritual manifestation of th planet. She speaks in riddles and is connected to the symbolic and intangible. She also sees the potential in Jack, believing him to be their promised savior, excluding all other possibilities for the vision she has for him. This also gives her a strong idealism and a believe in the success of their resistance in the future .
Tertiary Function: Se
Neytiri is a skilled warrior, because of her ability to react quickly in the moment and being attuned to her sensory environment and nature. She can act brash and impulsive at times, but is still way more calculated than a secondary Se user like Jack, often critizing him for his lack of forethought. Still she is is not necessarily more controlled and can act almost as impulsive as him. Her teaching strategy seems to be learning by doing and she wants to challenge her students physical capacities as much as his mental ones.
Inferior Function: Ti
Neytiri is guided by her emotions and an idealist, but can act rationally and strategic under stress. Still she often fails to analyse a situation properly and acts mainly based on her feelings and ideals. She struggles with Jacks inability to adapt to the norms of her people in the beginning and seems to be less critical about preaching them to him. Seeing the injustice done to her people she judges humans based on an emotional and moral level rather than a calm and rational one.
