Functional Order: Ni/Fe/Ti/Se
Dominant Function: Ni
Clara often seems like she isn‘t of this world. While she breathes and walks like everyone else, she seems disconnected from the realities around her and living in a dimension distinct from others. She evokes spirits, believes she can talk to ghost and tries to predict the future, having a strong connection to the spiritual realm. All these actions are not directly proven to be successful, but she just feels like they are the right things to do. When her parents die she follows her intuition to find the lost head of her mother, just like when she educates her daughter and granddaughter. Clara deals with the world in symbolic terms and often speaks in riddles.
Auxiliary Function: Fe
Clara sort of acts as a spiritual mother figure to all inhabitants of the three marines. She is strongly committed to helping the locals and spreading causes of social justice, trying to teach the villagers how to stand up for themselves. She is gentle and non confrontational, but expressive about her feelings and able to charm others to achieve her goals. She is deeply compassionate with those less fortunate to her and judges those around her on high moral standard.
Tertiary Function: Ti
Even as a child Clara is quite free spirited and critical thinking, following her own logic and questioning authorities. She questions the preachers words at the church, not being aware of the power he holds over the community. She often acts based on her own conclusions that seemingly only make sense to her.
Inferior Function: Se
Clara is otherworldly and oblivious to what is in front of her. She lives quite a sheltered life at first and it takes her time to take any action in the real world. Over the course of her life however she grows into a more assertive presence and is more willing to engage with reality. Inspiring Those around her through actions not words.
