Functional Order: Ni/Te/Fi/Se
Dominant Finction: Ni
Mona is always ten steps ahead of the game. She’s the only person who could see through Ali’s manipulation before she disappeared. She plans incredibly long term and in depth, coming up with the idea of A to torture Ali’s friends after she disappears. She sees potential in things and people, grooming up Hanna to become a better version of Ali, so they could be the new queen bees. She knows exactly what buttons to push to make people do what she needs them to do in order to make her plans succeed. Symbolism is very important to Mona, especially that of books.
Auxilliary Function: Te
Mona has no difficulty making logical decisions in order to ensure that her plans succeed. Hanna found out her secret? Run her over with a car. She can be blunt, realistic about what’s really going on, and executes her plans almost flawlessly. She’s incredibly intelligent, having gotten accepted to 4 Ivy League schools early decision, and acquired the skills she’d need to keep up the A game, such as hacking, programming, and surveillance.
Tertiary Function: Fi
Mona cares about the few people close to her, such as Mike and Hanna. She promises to always be friends with Hanna, and tells Mike she needs to disappear for a while for his own protection. She can go back and forth her loyalty at times, but she doesn’t want to see those whom she does love hurt. She hated Alison’s manipulation and the way she made her feel, and this resentment fueled all her plans.
Inferior Function: Se
Mona enjoys fashion and putting up a good image. She was able to keep an eye on all the girls and gather detailed information about them to use when she was still A. However, she sometimes made impulsive decisions, such as running Hanna over with a car and regretting it later.
