Functional Axis: Ni/Fe/Ti/Se
Dominant Function: Ni
"What we see and what we seem is but a dream, a dream within a dream." This quote by Edgar Allen Poe is whispered by Miranda in the beginning and seems to capture her worldview quite well. Miranda almost doesn't feel real, acting more like some alien watching the earth from far ahead rather than actually living in it. She seems to have strong intuitions of what will happen, telling Sarah in the beginning that she won't be here much longer, seemingly predicting her faith at hanging Rock. She acts like their prophet seemingly possessing intuitive knowledge about things, and often speaking in cryptic and metaphorical ways.
Auxilliary Function: Fe
Miranda is kind as she is coming. Being highly compassionate and war to the people around her. She naturally takes on a leading role, functioning as some kind of catalyst for the other girls at hanging rock. She also has a strong connection to Sarah and takes her under her protection, nd even tries to include the wildly loathed Edith. She also seems judgmental towards those who hurt others, but is very peaceful when interacting with others.
Tertiary Function: Ti
Miranda is focused on her feelings and hunches more than on logic as it seems, but is still interested in taking research at Hanging Rock, making scientific studies and analyzing its historical value. She follows her subjective logic, not being irritated by the peculiar things that happen close the rock.
Inferior Function: Se
Miranda lacks earthiness having her head in the clouds it seems. Still he seems deeply sensitive to the beauty of nature and her souroundings, but always connects them to certain intuitions, viewing them from a more symbolic character. Still she is the one leading the girl up higher and higher, leaving behind the known and exploring the rock with its mysteries...
