Merlin: Merlin (INFP)

Functional Order: Fi/Ne/Si/Te

Dominant Function: Fi

Merlin is an individualistic free spirit, who always follows what he considers to be right. He is authentic, calm and compassionate for others, especially those he perceives to be oppressed like sorcerers, animals and children. He is self aware and ironic and has a strong sense of his personal integrity.

Auxilliary Function: Ne

Merlin is very offbeat, unconventional and funny. He has a bit of a trickster side to him and enjoys teasing others with small pranks. He is highly imaginative and curios about the world around him, learning magic by himself by taking ideas for spells from books and multiple advisors. He doesn‘t believe his fate is set in stone and rather seeks to change it.

Tertiary Function: Si

Merlin is very duty focused, especially later on. He tries his best to fullfill his prophecy and serve the kingdom and his king. He is also quite observant of small details and enjoys his daily routines with Gaius.

Inferior Function: Te

Merlin can be very bold and ruthless when angered, but is normally more calm and soft spoken. He is guided by his values and principles for most of the time, but can also follow a more utilitarian ethos if the situation calls for it.
