Fantastic Beasts: Newt Scamander (INFP)

Functional Order: Fi/Ne/Si/Te

Dominant Function: Fi

Newt is an individualist, not bound by anyones perception of him. He is passionate about magical creatures, as he feels he can be fully himself with them, not needing to adapt to societies expectations. He is a sensitive soul, deeply moved by cruelty and anger at those who try to harm his beloved creatures.

Auxilliary Function: Ne

Newt is a dreamer and a little bit impractical. He Carrie’s on a whole zoo in his bag and when they escape he uses quite unconventional ways to catch them. He seems to have sheer endless curiosity and knowledge about magical creatures and won‘t limit himself on one interest. Teriary Function: Si

While he is very future focused and untraditional, Newt cherishes his personal memories and past relationships. He is quite molded by his experiences and especially his relationship with Leta Lestrange causes him to reminisce a lot.

Inferior Function: Te

Newt often gets into troubles with the local law, as his free spirited nature makes him struggle to fully adapt to the workings of the world around him. He also can be extremly blunt when pressured.
