Functional Order: Fi/Ne/Si/Te
Dominant Function: Fi
Laura is a very calm and chilled girl normally, but highly sensitive. When her mother gets increasingly challenged by her job as prime minister of Denmark and the family’s life is disrupted by her parents splitting up Laura develops feelings of anxiety, which she struggles to communicate. Instead she suffers in silence until she lashes out. Laura is also very compassionate for others, who experience similar pain than her like Kaspar, with whom she quick=y bounds.
Auxilliary Function: Ne
Laura is normally rather dreamy and idealistic, belieing the good in others and having a rather positive outlook on her mothers career. She is quick witted and academically inclined proffering creative hobbies like reading or playing piano over more practical activities and being a theoretical thinker. After her phase of depression her more optimistic personality comes back and she inspires Kaspar to make amends with his past.
Tertiary Function: Si
Laura places great value on her family their traditions and the sense of security she gets from there and gets strong feelings of anxiety when this safe space fells apart. She struggles somewhat to adapt to new places, like the mental health hospital or their new flat in Kopenhagen, but thanks to her Ne she quickly arranges with it. She is also observant of small changes in her parents moods, something that only heightens her sensitivity to their problems.
Inferior Function: Te
When struggling mentally Laura lashes out at her mother, being highly and rightfully critical of her parents decisions and even threatens her brother. Laura is normally very honest, even to the point of bluntness and won‘t refrain from expressing her true opinions on any matter. Laura is also a straight A-student and responsible older sibling for Magnus, when she needs to be, using her Te well when under stress and pressured to perform.
