Dominant Function: Ni
Neteyam is very perceptive about the bigger picture and his role in it. He strives to life up to the ideals of his society and strives to became a valuable member of their tribe in the future. This helps him become well respected by his tribe and even foreign tribe leaders, as the recognize his visionary nature and leadership capabilities. He is quick to set his mind on something and than follows through with it, not letting himself get distracted, becoming the best hunter among the young members of the Omatikaya Clan. Furthermore he easily reads others and often offers wise advise to his sibling, showing his ability to think of the long term, when making decisions. He is also highly singleminded and unwilling to see different perspective rather focusing on what he sees necessary to protect their planet.
Auxilliary Function: Fe
Neteyam sort of takes on the role of the golden child of his family. He internalized the values of his tribe and strives to act according to them, making him appear caring, responsible and polite. This also results in him being compared to his mother Neytiri (an ENFJ), with which he has a lot in common. He also acts as a responsible and mature older sibling for his younger brothers and sisters and often helps them with his advise, like when recognizing Loak‘s feelings for Tsireya. He is good with forging bonds between groups and uniting them behind a shared goal, like organizing his family and the water tribe against the humans, attacking them.
Tertiary Function: Ti
Neteyam is very analytical and detached, often acting as the voice of reason. He is able to detach himself from his emotions to strategies and shows an innate understanding of the mechanical workings of nature.
Inferior Function: Se
Neteyak can act uncharacteristically impulsive if his family‘s security is threatened or someone close to him is hurt. He can than lash out violently, resulting in his dad. He also has a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world and enjoys exploring new world, while still being bound to his home.
