Functional Order: Ne/Fi/Te/Si
Dominant Function: Ne
Lux is a very much a dreamer, disconnected from the real world around her and trying to escape it. Like one of the boys mentions, even while engaging in sexual activities or seemingly enjoying the moment, her gaze is always looking far away, longing for a deeper connectionm a freedom beyond her physical one. Hoping for a life full of future possibilities that is unrestricted by her home’s rules. Out of all the Lisbon sisters she is perhaps the most free spirited and the one suffering the most under their parents strict regime. She craves for change and novelty, seeking out new experiences and ideas in the outside world. As an idealist she can also quite naive, believing Trip to save her from her prison that is her life at home and lead a new life with her. Prone to metaphorical musings and vague in her words and actions, Lux seems a mystery to the boys and the readers alike.
Auxilliary Function: Fi
Lux marches to the beat of her own drum. She is highly emotional and romantic, but also a rebel following her feelings and instincts over everything else. She gets desperate when her favorite songs are being burned and is silently suffering, not revealing her emotions to those outside of her family, often only displaying a mischievous fun loving personality, while repressing the more melancholic and depressed side of herself.
Tertiary Function: Te
Lux is quite quick witted and argumentative at times, often viciously arguing with their parents and boldly rejecting their rules. She stil, follows her subjective set of rules and acts as sort of the leader among her sisters, often giving the impulse for their collective actions. Her Te also makes her more assertive, giving her a more fortright and even practical side than her more demure sisters, contrasting the ethereal image the boys have of her.
Inferior Function: Si
Lux doesn‘t manage to life by the strict rules and traditions of her family any longer, openly rebelling and struggling with accepting anything related to it. She often seems dreamy and disconnected, gazing away and being unaware of her internal sensations and bodily needs.
