Nairobi is the creative brain of the gang and the one in charge of the money production. She views it from an artistic point, trying to create the best money possible. She is ever active and always comes up with new ideas to optimize the production which she writes on the control room glasses. Nairobi is also idealistic, willing to change her former plans if a new perspective comes up and tries to see the good in others, even someone like Berlin. She is also somewhat chaotic and has a way of speaking in metaphors and often seemingly random analogies.
Auxiliary Function: Fi
Nairobi‘s reasons for joining the heist are perhaps the most emotional ones. She sees it as a way of reuniting with her son, showing the importance her emotional connection to him is to her. Nairobi is quite secretive about her traumatizing past and takes time to completely open up with her emotion, keeping a free spirited and careless exterior. She marches to the best of her own drum and makes her own decision different from everyone else’s opinions. her strong moral values are visible in her human treatment of the hostages, as well as in her discussions with Berlin. When other robbers act on their emotions she is equally judgmental and understanding. Empathizing with their pain, but also reminding them on their responsibility towards the team. For her authentic and enthusiastic and empathetic personality she is liked by her partners and the hostages alike.
Tertiary Function: Te
Nairobi is a natural born leader and enjoys be8ng in charge of the money production. She is assertive and forceful and has no problems to stand her ground and defend her point of view against others. While she shows understanding for others irrational or impulsive actions, she often reminds the rest to follow though with their plan and keep their end goal in mind.
Inferior Function: Si
According to Tokyo Nairobi sees every detail others miss. She is observant and careful, but prone to act on her impulses. She is haunted by her past and tries to escape, but also finds comfort in small traditions and conventional ideals like family and peaceful stable life. Still her criminal and kind of bohemian lifestyle often clash with traditional notions of motherhood and she has a hard time accepting the status quo, always seeking for change and improvement.
