Infps are one of the most emotionally complex, artistic and mysterious personality types. So today I‘d like to show you some of my favorite Infp females in anime, which was kind of hard, since I mainly found male Infps one most side, like PDB. Still I tried and I hope you are pleased with the results.
16. Princess Kaguya (Kaguya Hime - The Tale of Princess Kaguya):
Kaguya is raised as a Princess, but shuns her responsibilities, preferring to stay outside and floating though the natural world around her with a childlike sense of wonder. A free spirit at heart she escapes from her responsibilities in a way that is both fascinating and tragic. 15. Shiina Mashiro (Pet Girl of Sakurasou)
Shiina gives of Luna Lovegood vibes at first. She is dreamy, mysterious, quirky and totally hillerious. But behind her otherworldly exterior and impractical attitude is a world famous artist. Like many Infps she is highly imaginative and loves expressing herself artistically, even though others might perceive it as blunt.
14. Mitsuha (Your Name)
Mitsuha is a very brave character and willing to stand up for her believes. She is normally very soft spoken and gentle, but also an idealist who wants escape this provincial life she is stuck in, just like Belle (a fellow Infp). Her story and the movie as a whole is both hopeful and melancholic.
13. Isla (Plastic Memories)
While she appears to be closed off and unemotional on the outside, she is deeply feeling, free spirited and loving. She is also rather disconnected from the world around her and a bit clumsy from time to time. As a romantic at heart her story is very tragic, but touching your heart.
12: Yui (SAO)
Yui is a very endearing character and able to empathize with almost everyone. She was originally designed as an AI to comfort others emotionally, but since has become her own individual. Her optimism and intelligence are of great use to Kirito over the course of the story and her diary like features and personality are ver cute.
11. Nagisa Furukawa (Clannad)
Nagisa is a very shy and quiet character at first, but only shows her bubbly side to those close to her. She is very empathetic and selfless to a fault, but also an individualist searching for her own place in the world. As many Infps she finds joy in her artistic hobbies something that gives her joy, before her tragic demise that effects all of those around her profoundly.
10. Yin (Darker than Black)
Like many characters on this list Yin at first seems to be aloof, mysterious and stoic, but is secretly quite emotional. She is very otherworldly and inexperienced at first, but gradually learns, becoming more open minded and hearted in the process. She has mystical powers, but is painfully unaware about the realities of the world she lives in.
9. Inori (Guilty Crown)
Inori is quietly emotional and deeply loyal towards those close to her. While often misunderstood she is deeply selfless too. Her musical talents make her a great singer and she is very fond of this artistic hobby. Her shyness and dreamy disposition still make her hard to access, but like many Infps she is actually a very bold and brave character when needed.
8. Mitsuri (Demon Slayer)
One of the better known Infps on this list. Mitsuri might appear dizzy at first, but she is highly capable. She is also great at socializing and attracting others with her sweet exterior. While she is charming and has certain charisma she is still an introvert and keeps to herself most of the time.
7. Scheherazade (Magi)
Scheherazade is a very caring ruler and deeply compassionate towards her subjects,resembling a fictional Princess Diana in a way. She is also prone to melancholy and has a childlike innocence about her when around those she loves. In the end she sacrifices herself to secure the future of those she loves.
6. Rei Asaka (Oniisama)
Rei is a very skilled artist, as it allows her to express her feelings of sadness and melancholy to the outside. She is stuck in an abusive relationship and her kindness and passiveness get exploited. She carries herself in an air of mystery, as she rarely expresses her emotions to anyone.
5. Nia (Gurren Lagann)
Nia is a very honest and innocent character, who never masks her feelings and states things as they are. She is deeply inspired by Kamina and spreads his ideals to Simon to inspire him too. Because off her dreaminess she can sometimes seem a bit lost, but she is actually quite sharp minded and plans to help Simon deal with his loss and finding new meaning in life after Kamins is gone.
4. Hagumi (Honey and Clover)
Hagu has a very free spirited and childish exterior, but is actually an accomplished artist. While she struggles with day to day life she has a deep appreciation for beauty and a unique perspecitve on live. As many Infps here childlike exterior hides a unique and rather mater worldview, that she struggles to communicate to the outside world.
3. Nunnally (Code Geass)
Nunnally is Leoluch‘s younger sister and he would do anything to protect her. She is very kind and gentle, but also has strong opinions. As an idealist she dreams of a better future for everyone, even though she is more gentle in her ways than her brother.
2. Doll (Black Butler)
Last one is Doll. She is a very likable and caring character. Like many Infps she is quite naive at times and very innocent about the world and the people in it. She is also quite fierce and has a tomboyish streak. Her artistic abilities are shown in her circus performances and her tragic demise along with her sweet personality endears her to the characters and viewers of the show alike.
1. Chihiro (Spirited Away):
As many Ghibli heroines, Chihiro is fascinating and incredibly complex character. While childish and a bit selfish in the beginning, she transforms over the course of the story into a very compassionate and selfless girl, managing to bring others hope to her childlike innocence and small acts of kindness. Her kindness and free spirit is infectious and she has a deep rooted love for the natural world around her too, making her one of the best Infps in all of Anime.
