Enfjs are perhaps one of the most charismatic and mysterious personality types of the Mbti and today I will focus on sone female Anime representation for this type. Unlike with other personalities before I didn’t struggle with finding female character as there wer many good ones I found initially. So here they come
Overall Enfjs often fall in mentor-like or are portrayed as manipulative villains and cult leaders, so I wanted to show some who where a bit more complex…
7. Marnie (When Marnie was there):
Marnie is a very complex character. She is warm, adventurous and ethereal and brings fun and light into protagonist Anna‘s life, but soon it is revealed that she hides tragedy and sadness beneath her lovely smile and tries to escape a troubled past. Like Enfjs she is very giving and kind, but struggles with showing her real feelings to others. She is also very fond of nature and impulsive.
6. Nefertari Vivi (One Piece):
Nefertari is kind of the Padme Amidala of One Piece. She is a compassionate and brave young Queen that fights for the greater good of her people and social justice. While she is mature and wise beyond her years, she can also act impulsive and is skilled in deceiving others, a gift many Enfjs possess.
5. Irisviel von Einzbern:
Irisviel is a loving wife and mother to her children, but while she seems to embody the ideal female archetyp, there is more to her than that meets the eye. She is plagued by disturbing visions and as she has a strong intuition, is being highly sensitive to the supernatural forces that plague her home. She also shows struggles many Enfj face, as she gradually loses contact with reality and indulges in increasingly impulsive activity. Still her love for those around her ultimately makes her an admirable and selfless character, which impact lives on long after her death.
4. Asuna Yuuki (SAO)
Asuna is the capeable and hopeful leader that leads the resistance against the oprressove forces of the virtual world. She desperately wants back to the real world, touching real flowers and sand again and being reunited with the ones she loves. She is incredibly selfless and caring for those around her, but can also be a bit stubborn and self righteous.
3. Mami Tomoe (Puella Magi Madoka Magica):
Mami takes one the archetypical mentor role many Enfjs are prone to and tries to act as a role model to others, deeply admired by those around here. But again there is more to her than what meets the eye and she is deeply anxious and harbors feelings of guilt feeling that she can‘t live up to the high expectations her students have on her.
2. Kanae Kocho (Demon Slayer):
Unlike her sister Kanae is very free spirited and compassionate. She is an idealist hoping for Mutual understanding and peace between humankind and demons. While she feels compassion for most around her, she is also perceptive, as she easily sees through others and doesn‘t let them fool her readily. Dying she inspires Shinobu to submit to her vision of a better world, showing the remarkable determination many Enfjs have.
1. Nausicaä (Nausicaä from the Valley of the Wind):
Nausicaä is perheps my favorite fictional Enfj. She embodies all the traits of a healthy Enfj, being compassionate, brave, resourceful and kind. Furthermore she also plays the natural activist role of this personality, engaging for the cause of a better world and peace. She also shows sensitivity to the natural world around her and treasures humans and animals alike.
