Dominant Function: Ne


Miss Kenton has a lively and energetic personality that brings life and color to the world around her. In the beginning she tries to decorate the servants room with flowers, as they would light up the mood and often clashes with Steven over his more practical ideas of how to leading a house. She is a romantic and idealistic about her love life, having many romances and affairs over time. She is open minded and idealistic, openly opposing her superiors.


Auxiliary Function: Fi


Miss Kenton shows more integrity than Steven ever does. When her superior orders her to fire the Jewish housemaids, she gets enraged and threatens to leave herself. She rarely compromises her values, but often remains silent about her true feelings, harboring a deep love for Steven, but also resentment for some of his decisions. She is a full fleshed human unlike Steven who seems almost robotic at times and often acts based on her emotions.


Tertiary Function: Te


Miss Kenton is highly organized and bold. She is a strict, but Kind leader for the female servant, but also highly protective of them. She is demanding and takes he rework seriously, but also knows that there are more important things in life. She often questions authority when those in power don‘t meet their responsibilities.


Inferior Function: Si


Miss Kenton struggles to let go of her past love for Steven, but still over on with her life not daring to look back. She is focused on the bigger picture and often gets frustrate with Stevens focus on small „irrelevant“ details.
