Lucy is a free spirit that always follows what she believes to be right. She is secretive about her feelings and reflects on the in her songs. She is also skilled at manipulating others with her charm, using her intense and authentic personality to draw others in.

Lucy is glad about the help she receives from Snow and likes strategizing with him, how to get out alive out the arena. She can be bold and assertive, but generally lets her emotions get the better of her. Lucy is unconventional and rebellious in her attitude. She tries to escape her past and the trauma from the Hunger Games, but is haunted by it. Still she eventually manages to break free from it.
