Her free spirited personality and somewhat impractical outlook on the world, causes her to make some impulsive decision, like taking part in a Marxist boycott at university and having only to be saved by her grandfather, as things go out of hand. She is also one of the view to challenge Estebans reactionary outlooks and offers a new more idealistic perspective on the future of the country. While Alba is more grounded than her grandmother in the sense that she is more ready to actively engage in the world than she is, she also has a strong interest in the unknown and supernatural aspects of life, being open minded towards her mothers believes and practices.

She has a strong sense of right and wrong and feels a moral responsibility to help the poor, even if she needs to steal from her family for the sake of it, showing that she values her on sense of sympathy and morality higher than any social conventions, or family code. Alba is also quite sensitive, something she masks between a carefree exterior, being highly empathetic to the plight of those living in poverty and some of her own family members.

Tertiary Function: Te

Alba is a little bit I practical and disorganized in her Rebell activities at first, but quickly grows to become skilled at managing her own business and providing for those in need. She is assertive and strong willed, earning her the respect of her grandpa, but also causing many clashes with him. When she has a goal set in mind, she is surpassingly serious about it and won‘t let herself get distracted.

Inferior Function: Si

Alba began at a young age "to record the things that struck her as important, just as her Grandmother Clara had before her". She is conscious about the way her family’s past shaped their future, but has a hopeful vision of it, believing one day they will be able to break the endless cycle of hatred through forgivness. Alba dislikes rigid routines and structures and seeks to break free from them, resulting in a highly unconventional and at times irresponsible personality. But she still has a deep seated loyalty towards her family and those she loves. At the moments of her captivity the vivid images oats give her hope, but she slowly loses grip of them, needing a new hope for the future to regain the will to life.
