Star Wars: Master Yoda (INTP)

Functional Axis: Ti/Ne/Si/Fe

Dominant Function: Ti

Yoda acts mostly calm and rational. He advises Luke to shut down his feelings in order to become a better Yedi and prevent the darkness from rising within him. He is direct and somewhat rude, always stating what he things without considering the other persons sensitivities too much. He is rather quiet most of the time and generally analyses a situation calmly before making action.

Auxilliary Function: Ne

Yoda is likely one of the strongest entities to exist in the Star Wars universe thanks to his deep connection to the force, which he uses in quite creative ways in his fights, compensating his physical frailness. He is quick to see the potential in pupils both for good and bad and tries to consider multiple possibilities instead of being fixated on one goal or belief alone. He has a tendency to seem a bit scatterbrained while speaking jumping from one topic to the next without being clear about what he means actually.

Tertiary Function: Si

Yoda is well aware of the traditions of the Jedi and values their routines and structures. He let’s the Yedi-Temple function as a place of trainnig and a save sanctuary for the others, advising them to not only seek strengths in battle, but also from within. His strong force allows him to see small changes easily and he is highly observant.

Inferior Function: Fe

Yoda can be quite inconsiderate about another persons feelings, rather getting to the point straight. He doesn’t care much about politeness or formalities and is more focused on the truth. Still he naturally tries to take a mentoring role and teach others the qualities he believes to be importnat. He accepts the moral codes of the Yedi council and adopts it, as his own.
