Dominant Function: Ti
Grace is a brilliant scientist and possesses a strong curiosity about the working of the planet they are visiting, the savages culture and what technical means they can use to make best used of the planets resources. She mainly communicates on a cold and rational level being rather introverted and cynical. Her analytical strength later helps Jack to understand the nature of the planet and it’s workings.
Auxilliary Function: Ne
Unlike Jack, who is more interested in practical means of traveling the planets and understanding it’s working on a more practical level, Grace want to understand its hidden mysteries, the way life is connected on the planet, playing with ideas and seeing potential everywere. In the beginning her notions seem unlikely, but in the end she is proven right with her theories about the working of the planet. Grace is able to see different ways to interact with the inhabitants of the planet and disrupts the status quo with her theories, being a daring explorer questioning almost everything.
Tertiary Function: Si
Grace is mainly focused on gaining data and knowledge about the planet, connecting as much information about its workings as she can. She is attuned to her routines and protocols as a scientist and a great observer, noticing manny details and using her Ne to connect what she sees on a theoretical level. She isn‘t overly attached to the past and breaks with the traditional way of interacting with the planets inhabitant, trying to foster a more peaceful alliance in the future.
Inferior Function: Fe
Grace struggles communicating on an emotional level, acting cold and distant to Jake in the beginning. She is cynical and seems quite apathetic for most of the time, but in the ends it becomes clear how much Jake and peace between their nations mean to her. Still she looks at it from a mostly calm and rational perspectives, calling out the irrationality of those around her.
