Functional Axis: Te/Ni/Se/Fi
Dominant Function: Te
Leia is a bold and effective leader, determinEd to fullfill the task she was assigned with. She is naturally commanding and can even come across a bit bossy at times, She is also quite calm and organized, making fun of Luke and Han‘s disorganized rescue attempt in the beginning. Moreover she is the one who plans the course of the rebellion and their strategies.
Auxilliary Function: Ni
Leia is an idealist, similar to her mother, hoping to overthrow the current system having a vision of a better one in the future. She doesn‘t let herself get distracted from that goal even when her home planet is getting destroyed. Instead this even pushes her further. She also has strong instincts and senses when things are of and their is any danger. In battle she also follows her instincts, like when she and her rescuers jump in the garbage pit to flee from their followers.
Tertiary Function: Se
Leia is rather impulsive at times and doesn’t show away from direct physical confrontations. She is focused on the present situation of her people and how to better it rather than on any past events. Furthermore she is quick thinking and able to use the environment at hand to her advantage often in a creative way (Ni/Se).
Inferior Function: Fi
While projecting the image of a strong and capable leader Leia often hides her true feelings. But she doesn‘t manage to hide them completely showing her affection for Han over time and being in terrible worry about her mates, when they are in danger. She is also surprisingly sensitive to criticism and can be enraged by some of Han‘s snarky comments.
