Aktualisiert: 21. März 2023

Functional Axis: Te/Ni/Se/Fi

Dominant Function: Te

Tony seems to have it all. Unlike many of his friends he holds control over his life, expelling in school and having many extracurricular activities like singing in the Chor and doing sports, but manages them all effortlessly. He is also the leader of his peer group and extremly domineering and controlling especially towards Sid. He is a rational thinker and focuses on cold facts rather than getting caught in fuzzy feelings.

Auxiliary Function: Ni

Tony is quite philosophical reading many books like Nietzsche and about existentialist philosophy and constantly tries to widen his world view. In his centric episode in the 2nd season he experiences a dreamlike adventure, which is actually him finding a metaphorical way to express his struggles with developing a new identity after the car accident at the end of season 1. Overall he is a skilled manipulator and can predict the behavior of those around him, as well as being constantly future focused and looking at the bigger picture.

Tertiary Function: Se

Tony is very reckless and a hedonist, engaging in sexual relationships with his girlfriend, other women and even boys alike just for the pleasure of it. He is willing to undertake risky activities, even if he likes to plan them before and can have a materialistic streak.

Inferior Function: Fi

Tony is rather sociopathic in the beginning and seems to lack any value system of his own, but this changes during the course of the series and he shows real compassion towards those close to him especially his sister Effy, whohe considers to be similar to him. He shows his vulnerabilities and is loyal to Michelle and Sid, instead of using them for his own benefit only.
