Fifty Shades of Grey: Christian Grey (ENTJ)

Functional Order: Te/Ni/Se/Fi

Dominant Function: Te

He enjoys to be in charge in all aspects of his life, be it professional, personal or romanticlaly. He is highly dominant and success oriented and can not stand if anything distracts him from his goals. With his young years he is already a successful business man, owning a private company and even his own helicopter. This also shows some downsides like him being an admitted control freak, that needs to be in charge everywhere and can not let go.

Auxilliary Function: Ni

Christian is a brilliant business man for his long term planning and vision. He can reads others like a book and see their hidden desires and his secretiveness gives him a sense of mystique. He also seems to be interested in abstract and symbolical topics, shown in his discussions about classical literature and the symbolical nature of the presents he sends Anastasia.

Tertiary Function: Se

Christian is mainly focused on his goals and instead of enjoying the moment or partying like many of his peers he rather focuses on them. Still he has a hedonistic streak shown in his appreciation for the finer things of life, luxury, good food and his love of music and playing the piano. He also invests much into realizing his sexual fantasies and desires and is very pragmatic about it.

Inferior Function: Fi

While possessing the front of a cold and emotionless business man, Chrisitan actually has deep emotions and feelings, shown in his deep affections and almost obsessive feelings for Anastasia. He can act selfish and irrational under stress, and even has a more r9mantic side, even though he denies it. He also doesn‘t care what others think of him and is rather bold about his feelings.
