Star Wars: Anakin Skywalker (ESFP)

Functional Axis: Se/Fi/Te/Ni



Dominant Function: Se


Anakin is very impulsive and a risk taker. He is skilled with his hands and enjoys mechanics. His devise seems to be do it or die. He always takes actions and doesn‘t waste time to think about the consequences mostly. He is passionate and a fast learner, easily mastering new Jedi skills. He is also observant and quickly reacts to danger.

Auxilliary Function: Fi


Anakin is a romantic, willing to break the rules for the sake of his feelings, as he does during his forbidden romance with Queen Amidala. He often feels misunderstood, but hides his sensitivities and feelings quite well, possessing a calm and playful exterior. Still he can be quite revengeful and moody, easily becoming consumed by his anger or fear. He is also deeply loyal to his loved ones and has firm values.

Tertiary Function: Te


For Anakin power is a means to an end, in his case to protect his loved ones. He wants to protect Padme by becoming more powerful, while simultaneously becoming more corrupted by it. He is a good strategist at times and quite forceful and direct with his powers.

Inferior Function: Ni


Anakin sees the future in his dreams, but barely understands what this means. For him the future seems like something dangerous that will destroy his happiness. He is often blocked by his singleminded view of the future and struggles with considering alternatives, which leads this downfall in the end.
