One of us is Lying (Book): Nate Macauley (ISTP)

Functional Axis: Ti/Se/Ni/Fe

Dominant Function: Ti

Nate at first gives off a rather cold and distant impression. He is not overly emotional expressive and seems rather sinister. This is because he is rather detached and logical, being reclusive to easily open up with his emotions and viewing things from a rather rational anker. He is quite analytical and the calmest and most critical of the "Bayview Four"

Auxilliary Function: Se

Nate is seen as a bad boy in the beginning, being prone to impulsive and risky behavior, like motor cycling or taking and selling drugs. Actually he mainly does these things out of practical reasons and his desire to aid practical help for his family, as well as adopting a tougher image to protect himself. he is technical skilled and good wit mechanics too staying focused and in the moment for most of the time.

Tertiary Function: Ni

Nate has sometimes hunches about things and has generally good instincts. He also seems kind of distant and mysterious in the beginning, being rather vague about his feelings and issues and not directly addressing them. As this function is rather low in him he is still rather grounded and more present focused than interested in the theoretical realm.

Inferior Function: Fe

Nate isn't particularly warm or open with his feelings and it takes him time to open up to Bronwyn and the others. Still he has actually quite a caring nature which he particularly shows towards his girlfriend, being more sensitive than he shows in the beginning.
